Meet the Team

People make relationships, and great people forge great relationships, which is why we regularly invest in development and training to build an outstanding team that meets our client’s needs. A team with a wealth of cross-industry knowledge and experience drawn from corporate business, marketing, creative, print and direct mail backgrounds.

Over 40 years’ experience in print & mail and e-commerce has seen Barry build his own print consultancy and be the MD and CEO of global businesses, with a remit covering London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and US offices. Now co-owner of DCS, Barry is responsible for steering operations, sales & marketing, finance and guiding the executive management team, setting the strategy to drive the business forward.

With a passion for print that’s ingrained in every fibre, for over 30 years Dave has been driven by delivering the best possible solutions for each and every client. Through his passion and commitment, caring about what he does is displayed naturally. And today, delivering great work still generates a real buzz because “it creates happy customers and helps influence people’s choices, so it’s hugely rewarding.”. His mindset is to constantly look to the future to understand how DCS can embrace new technology, innovation and processes for the benefit of customers. Always looking for the best way to do something stimulates his thinking and improves outcomes, meaning we meet the needs of our customers and help them thrive in their business.

Dave Gibbons

Co-Owner

Rebecca brings over 19 years of finance experience to DCS, having began her career in the print industry at the age of 17. With a diverse background that spans the print and security industries, providing a unique perspective on financial strategy and operations. As Finance Director, Rebecca is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring the company’s financial health and sustainability. Her expertise in financial management allows strategic initiatives that support growth and profitability.

With over 25 years’ experience in the printing industry, Jane started in Reception and moved on to Customer Service until 2009 when she was promoted to Office Manager. She manages the day to day running of DCS and is responsible for overseeing supplier relationships, purchasing and credit control. Whilst also being responsible for our infrastructure, management of our ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and setting the company’s policies and procedures.His mindset is to constantly look to the future to understand how DCS can embrace new technology, innovation and processes for the benefit of customers. Always looking for the best way to do something stimulates his thinking and improves outcomes, meaning we meet the needs of our customers and help them thrive in their business.

Jane Wheeler

Office Manager & Finance

A seasoned Operations Director backed by over 25 years project management experience and a forensic knowledge of print production gleaned from key positions in financial and commercial printing, finishing and distribution environments. Professional and agile with a client focused can-do attitude and service oriented, Tim offers a valuable combination of creativity and analytical skill with the ability to assess, communicate and implement cost-effective solutions for an international client base.

Operations Director

Mark has over 30 years’ experience working on and successfully delivering technology focussed solutions within the print and communications industry. With a forensic knowledge of data security and a proven track record implementing automated workflows that drive greater efficiency, building e-commerce platforms and producing iOS and Android apps, Mark enables DCS to offer clients a more comprehensive service.

Mark Aris

Technical Director

Having started work in the print industry when he left School (Which he blames his dad for), Keith has worked his way through Prepress, customer service, estimating, production and has finally settled in Sales. With an ability to understand what clients want and a never fail attitude, he has been known to instill trust that money cannot buy (this is his favourite piece of praise from one of his clients). Keith is a fantastic communicator and relationship builder, and he believes that no two clients are the same but every client should be treated with the same respect. Having worked previously for Barry and with Mark and Tim, Keith joined us at DCS in July 2023.

Another member of the team with over 25 years’ experience in the print industry. Gary’s deep well of knowledge encompasses all aspects of printing, mailing, finishing and distribution. He’s a seasoned manager who’s responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the DCS production department that leads to our clients receiving a seamless experience.

Production Manager

Adam has been in print and design for 25 years including a number of years at the Central Office of Information (COI) before joining the DCS family. Through his many roles in print, Adam has acquired rare experience and a highly valuable skill set combining Customer Service, Project Management, Procurement, Pre-press, Graphic Design and Estimating that now benefits DCS customers.

Paul Left school at 16 in 1982 with aspirations of being a Pop Star, unfortunately he couldn’t sing or play an instrument so a life in Print beckoned!!! Started his career in Typesetting before moving into Sales over 20 years ago specialising in Financial Print and working closely with many of the Investment Banks. Moved into sales – specialising in Investment banking and IPOs – in 2001. Paul Joined DCS in 2022 continuing his relationships in the Financial sector and beyond. Outside of selling print and mail, he recently wrote and produced a film starring Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant!!

Paul Hallam

Business Development Specialist

Jana is our go to person when it comes to anything creative having studied graphic design at University. She started out her career as an Artworker/Graphic Designer but also gained experience in Large Format Print Production and Installation. Since then, Jana has further expanded her knowledge in Digital Print and as a member of Team DCS is now responsible for Design, File Preparation and the building of our Imperium Websites.
