Striving for the best of the best

__________

There’s always debate around winning awards. Is it just vanity? Does it matter to customers? Who benefits? Well, in order, the answers are no, yes, you!!!

Why? Because industry awards play a hugely important roll highlighting success, creativity, efficiency, innovation. All things businesses strive for, all things we’re sure you strive for.

When budget, targeting, quality, impact all matter, it can give you real confidence in what you’re trying to do knowing you’re working with partners or suppliers recognised by their industry for delivering great, award winning, work that pushes what’s possible.

The best of the best.

So, we’re absolutely thrilled to say we were awarded the overall prize in the Xerox Best of the Best Awards for ‘Best Client Marketing Collateral’. The Xerox Best of the Best Awards is a worldwide competition. Against global entrants we picked up the award for the user experience guide we produced for the Grand Egyptian Museum, Cairo. Opening in the second half of 2023, it’ll be the largest archaeological museum in the world at 81,000sqm.

And it’s not the first award we’ve picked up. Barry Page, our Managing Director was delighted to have won – now for the second year in a row.

“Winning an award on a global scale, especially such a prestigious one, is always a tremendous achievement and to have won this particular award for the second year running makes it even more special. It’s a testament to all the team we have at DCS London and the shared commitment to delivering the best possible solution for our clients.”

The guide included four different publications, all printed on the Xerox Iridesse digital production press using metallic silvers, golds, and whites. It also used clear sealer throughout the enclosing hardbound folder and internal books.

The ability to add these impactful and striking finishes, and use a larger print length, helps us offer customers creative print solutions that stand out from the crowd.

Barry continued:

“At DCS we always look to use the latest techniques and embellishments that enhance the final product thanks to the state-of-the-art equipment we invest in. The user experience guide we produced demonstrates exactly what can be achieved by doing so.”

Don’t just take our word for it.

But we’ll leave the last word with one of the judges, Tracy Koziol, Senior Vice President of Global Offerings at Xerox. Afterall, these awards were judged by industry experts looking for print that delivers the finest solutions possible:

“We were hugely impressed. Together… we can continue to deliver outstanding levels of creativity and drive business success.”

That sounds like something we all want, doesn’t it.
